    Systems have the following specs:

    8510W - 2,5HZ Cpu and FX570m video card.
    8710W - 2,2HZ Cpu and FX1600m video card.

Both systems have 1680x1050p resolution, same hard drives, ram and etc.

    The question is:
Which system does perform better in AoC in native display's resolution ?

    Thanks in advance.

I know the FX1600m is pretty much a 8700gt and that will do really well, but I am not sure what the FX570 is compared to with the gaming cards. However I have to guess near a 8600gt.

You will find in almost all cases that a stronger GPU is going to benifit you more than the faster cpu in gaming. This is even more true in laptops than desktops because they generally have very weak gpu's vs desktops but cpu's are almost on par.

However if your getting these kind of video cards for professional work, most of the programs you would use them for are probably very cpu dependent. So you may find yourself abit torn still. If your not going to be doing AutoCAD or other things of that nature I am not sure why your looking at these systems in the first place instead of a gaming machine.

Thank you ViciousXUSMC for a great explanation.

I've chosen those workstations because of it performance and of none availability of more powerful notebooks in the area i am currently in. That is the main reason :( I will not be doing CAD and etc, but as i understand mentioned laptops provide good performance in games and there is no alternative to it in my area as i've written above :( Asus is not the choice because of its design - just don't like it. Also both of them are relatively light for it's screen size and that's also a plus.
So, as i understood you do state that 0,3Hz is less important for gaming than mentioned above graphic chip ?
Questioning just to make it clear for myself for 100% :)

    And thank you once more.
