    Hi,

I have a HP 8510w notebook and this is my current configuration

    Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.50 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB
    4GB DDR2 RAM 667 MHz
    ATI Mobility FireGL v5600 256MB GDDR3
    320GB SATA 16MB 7200rpm WESTERN DIGITAL
    Windows Vista Business 32-bit

I bought a Geforce 9600m GT MXM and installed it but my BIOS doesn't support the card or some HP whitelist prevents me from using it. I'm not really familiar with BIOS editing so I was wondering if anyone else on this forum has a HP 8510w and installed succesfully a different MXM card like a 8600m GT or something like that. Please let me know. Ty

You'll probably have to reflash the VBIOS on your card to that of a HP compatible one (if available).
