Do the new DV3,4,5 graphic cards like Nvidia 9200gs, 9300gs play newer games? I want to play NHL 09, Nba 2k9, Crysis, Call of duty etc. I know that Crysis will be demanding but other games, would I be able to run at high settings?

The 9200GS is an IGP, so it won't run higher end 3D games like CoD4 or Crysis very well, if at all.

The 9300M GS isn't much better, although it does have 256MB of discrete memory - it should be able to run the other games you mentioned at medium-high settings (just disable anti-aliasing and shadows).

MY DV5 has a dedicated 9600mGT 512MB DDR2, RUNS CoD4 all settings high with no AA, at around 35-45 fps with full server. With Source Games High 90's with full GFX no AA. Take a look at the GFX list on this website. It will tell you the specs of the video cards in question. It will help you decide what one is right for you. Don't be swayed by the name either. A 8600MGT will beat out a 9300MGS no problem..

The only playable video card HP offers is the 9600GT.
