    Hey, just bought an HP netbook with a GMA 950, and it won't run Age of Empires 2 because it says to check if my drivers are updated and my graphics card supports DirectDraw. Well, it has both, according to dxdiag.

    Help please!

    Try running it as an earlier version of windows. Right click the shortcut, go to compatibility and check windows 98 or xp.

    Very simple to use, not sure if it will help your issue but it's a must have if you wan't to game on any netbook + it's free :D
