Hey guys I recently bought a HP Pavilion 6500t laptop, it has a dedicated 8400 GS graphics card in it (Upgraded from an x3100)

My question is, am I able to upgrade the 8400GS to (say) a 8600? or any better G card? Does it use the same socket? I'm not too sure exactly how laptops work so you guys will have to bear with me :D

    Cheers guys!

No,not possible the GPU is soldered to the motherboard. No further upgrades are possible since the motherboards are specific to each laptop. HP use different motherboards for the integrated and the disrete graphics versions and no other choices are available.

    The sticky explains it all...
