I noticed when gaming on my HP notebook if you use the volume slider thing the little volume display interferes with your game. Is there anyway of turning that little volume gui off yet still having the volume slider work?

you can disable it on startup. do msconfig and find it in there. you can also disable it in process manager, but make sure you disable the right one. its called HPKBDAPP.exe

note run task does not work to restart it.
