HTWINGNUT'S NBR STEAM LAZY, CHEAPSKATE, PROCRASTINATOR GAME GIVEAWAY

Ok, so yo missed the Steam sale because you're lazy, cheap, or just a procrastinator. Not that I should reward such behavior but I ended up with a bunch of games that I can give away. So I am going to do just that, give them away.


THE GAMES

The games available for giveaway are as follows (click name for link to Steam page):

(06) Crysis 2 Maximum Edition - includes Limited Edition unlocks and Reataliation and Decimation Packs

(07) Darksider's Franchise Pack - includes Darksiders II and all DLC (Darksiders 1 too I think)

(08) Grand Theft Auto Complete - includes GTA, GTA 2, GTA 3, GTA 4, Liberty City, San Andreas, Vice City

(09) Hitman Collection - includes Hitman: Blood Money, Hitman: Codename 47 Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

(10) Saints Row The Third Full Package - includes Saints Row The Third and all DLC

(11) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I and II - includes both of these classic games

(12) Thief Collection - Includes Thief Gold, Thief II: The Metal Age, Thief: Deadly Shadows

(13) Tomb Raider Collection - includes Tomb Raider I, II, III, IV, V, VI, Legend, Anniversary, Underworld



HOW TO PLAY!

The drawing will take place Sunday January 13, 2013 at 13:13. Entries won't be counted after I say so in this thread, sometime on Sunday before that time. Any submissions made after that time will be deleted. You must fill out the form listed at the bottom of this post. It will present you with choosing up to three games. You can win only one game (with the excption of Civilization, see *** note below). The three games are to give you option to win a game if someone else chose the same game and won it before you.

*** Civilization games - you can win all three if you desire, but you must choose two of the three, or all three of the Civ games in your entry, with no other games chosen. Then if your name is picked, you will win all of the Civ games chosen. If someone wins one of the Civ games before you, then you will win whichever are left. Or if all three are won, you don't win anything.


THE RULES

In the traditional vain of my giveaways you MUST follow the RULES or as Willy Wonka says:

(1) You must have a valid NBR account, been a member of NBR since November 2012 or earlier with at least 10 posts and at least 1 quality post in 2012 and must not be banned on the date of the drawing.

(2) You must be of legal age and/or have proper permission and follow laws of your locality, County, State, Country, region to receive, win, and play awarded games.

(3) You must have a valid Steam account.

(4) You can only enter ONCE! YOU can only win one game (with exception of Civ games see *** above). I will delete any duplicate entries, only leaving your latest entry for the drawing. Please keep this to a minimum, but it will allow you to change your mind if you care to do so.

(5) You must claim your prize within 72 hours (that's 3 days for the mathematically challenged) or I will award it to someone else. This just means to PM me or respond to my PM within 72 hours of the drawing with any questions I may have to help award your game. You must activate your game within a week of receiving it or I will award it to someone else. I just want people to use the games, not hoard them, thanks.

(6) Rules are subject to change at a moment's notice. So PAY ATTENTION!

(7) You must refer to me as "Old Man".

(8) You must make a post in this thread stating why you didn't bother to buy these games cheap.

Why did I not get these games? Well, you see, I ended up spending money on some keys in Team Fortress 2 instead...

 

Not entering but.. Great giveaway? You've never heard of the Lazy Cheapskate? It's great enough for you Old Man.

 

Old man, generous old man, I didn't partake of the holiday sale because that is a time I work very much. In addition, I am far behind the curve on games and when I play, I usually play games many months behind new releases. I fact, the game I am currently playing is Just Cause, which I received from Quagmire in his Thanksgiving period giveaway.

It is people like you that help some of us workaholics get a chance to unwind once in a while. Whether I win or not, I think we all are thankful for things like this. Keep up the good work and may great Karma go to you guys/gals that do this.

My wonderful Old Man, I would like to request Civilization V GOTY. I have never played any of the Civ games before so I didn't have a real urge to buy it. If it happens to generously fall into my lap then I would give it a nice amount of play time. Thank you!

My reason for not getting these games during the last sale is simply because I did get my share of games but unfortunately overlooked some of these gems here. Either because I thought they may go cheaper elsewhere or it was simply not the right time. Anw, thanks for the chance!

 

Hey Old Man, I didn't bother to buy any of these games cheap because I'm to lazy to link a new credit card to my steam account, and because I know that I'll be distracted from school (Hope I dont win this ).

 

I bought Spec Ops: The Line with my remaining dough as a Christmas present to myself and it was only $10. Thought, "Hm, one game for $10? I think I'll indulge and buy another!" Some time later I went on Steam to find the A-10 Warthog simulator ticking down to 0 seconds. Saddest Steam moment ever because it sounded amazing.

Alas, I had to change my entry because my friend decided not to let me borrow his joystick and I don't want to spend $100 on something I'll use for one game I accidentally added Batman as a third option, anyway. I've always wanted to play the Crysis games, though! Even if I don't win, I can still thank ya

Let's just sum it up to "nation-wide financial and political reasons". Nothing illegal or similar, Old Man. Just couldn't take advantage of any of them! Not one!

Old man, thanks alot for the second giveaway in such a short time. I entered for CIV 5 GOTY edition. unfortunately I spent all my money on hardware this christmas.

 

Well I hadn't planned on doing this, just the deals were good, I bought some games for some friends, but they already bought a lot of them too, lol. So figured I'd just donate them to the fat, lazy, cheap, procrastinators. They are people too!

Of course it should really go to those that work all the time and didn't have time to catch the sales. Then again if they're that busy then they don't fit in because they're likely crazy successful and have no time for games or the likes of us gamer folk.

 

Heya Old Man! Thank you very much! I didn't actually miss the entire Steam sale, but I missed the games when they went for the daily deals due to my being away from home

 

I was out the whole day when GTAs were on sale for like 75% and was too much of a cheapskate for 50% =(

Being unaccustomed to Steam, I made the Egregious error of buying games too early, which prevented me from buying games in the later sales, and most of my money is reserved for a notebook. Being Lazy, I did not solicit enough change to buy more games.

Thanks for the giveaway! I didn't get these from Steam because I was going to buy them from Amazon. And then I forgot. And then I missed it on Steam. And then I spent my Amazon money on diapers. And then my in-laws visited. And then my parents visited. And then...I forgot what else happened. I'm getting old. I'm tired. I need a nap.

 

Thank you old man. I didn't get a chance to purchase these from Steam because I was away from home partying and drinking like no tomorrow.

 

I don't qualify as I am a long time lurker, but brand new member, but if i was eligible i would love to see how crysis 2 runs on my new sager with a gtx 675mx.

I didn't bother to buy these games, because:
a) blew my budget on other cheap games/booze/women.
b) I had a feeling a certain old man will be making another after sale giveaway.

Thank you old man for the giveaway! I am sorry to say that I didn't buy these games on the steam sales as I emptied my wallet instead on a set of other games.

 

I use the steam mobile app to buy things quite a bit.
