    Is there something I need to get Half Life working on my laptop?

    Also I installed the Schizm and Myst DVD collection, but they are both starting in a large pixelation...very fuzzy and no detail...

    How do I get them to work correctly?

    It loads and runs, but then says insert CD into drive, and then says click OK. I have game CD inserted and nothing happens. ?? Is your halflife game just one CD?

    What resolution are you running the game?

    try patching the game, that is the most likely problem how old is the copy? have u tried patching it before? and which installment are you trying to play Opposing force, Blue shift or just the orignal game? i usually play all my games at 1024x768 resolution.

    I was just thinking is that game made to work with widescreen? If its not that could be the problem. Just a thought though...
