Ok, so since Half Life 2:OB is going to be released Tuesday I decided that I would beat Half Life 1 and it's expansions first so I can get a better idea as to what's going on. On the cliff race level (I believe that's the right name, the one where you're on the cliff...) I get to the end of the level and the next level loads up but when it does my character is stuck. I can't move or anything. Now this has happeend before while playing the game, and I'd simply blow my self up and try again and problem was solved but this time I've tried over and over from different directions but I just can't get through. It's a very small tunnel so there's not many options besides left side, right side and middle, all have left me stuck. Anyone got an idea or a console command like Morrowind's "fix me" that I can use?

Um... I know it's only been two minutes since this was posted but I've found a way around the issue. Right before I hit the place where it loads the next level I just jump and it fixes it. So when the next level is loaded I'm in the air and land. Sorry.

My solution? Enable cheats, then just turn on no-clipping mode if that ever happens :D

what does no clip mode do? Also, I'm not having another problem. I need to get through a door with a retenal scanner, the scientist is standing right beside me BUT HE WON'T OPEN THE DOOR! I've tried to do it myself hoping that maybe he'd do it. I've asked him to follow me and walked right beside it and he does nothing. I've even pushed him into the retenal scanner and he does nothing. I've even shot him inbetween the eyes ( like that'd help ) and I get a black screen saying I failed to use all my asets or some blah blah so I know I need the guy.

also, in order to enable the console to type in those cheats you need to type "-console" in "set launch options" for HL1 in your steam account's "My Games" list. just right click on HL1, go to "properties", and then "set launch options"..
