I am currently looking for a laptop on which I could play the new Half Life and the new Counter Strike. I was looking at the Compaq Presario R3000T with P4 2.8:::512 DDR 333:::60GB HD 7200:::128MB Radeon 9600.I am sure there will be no problems on the old Counter Strike but I don't know how it will work on the new one.If anyone has the privelige of playing the Half Life 2 beta/alpha test post your opinion :))))

These people did a legal test on HL2 with the MR 9600 with 128 MB memory. Expect those already decent frame rates to be higher for the final release.

    --------------------
    Compaq Presario 2800T
    Pentium 4-M 1.6 GHz - 15" UXGA
    512 MB RAM - 40 GB (5400 rpm)
ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 64 MB
Pretty good for 2002 isn't it?
