I see ep 1 and 2 of HL2 can be bough on steam for 20 bucks? How long playtime do they have? i went though HL2 in around 15 hours.

I am thnking of buying this pack for 20 bucks or Dawn of War for the same price.

Ohh and i will make a new Steam acc cuz am selling the old 1. Can i play Ep1 and 2 without the original HL2 installed?

Both were great games, but yes not very long. Why pay $20

I thought i have seen the orange box for 20-25 and it has ALL of the games + Portal + TF2

Eps 1 and 2 should provide an above-average gamer with a combined 6-8-hours of game play. By comparison, RE4, which cost $20, will provide an above-average game with 12-16-hours of game play.

You'd be better off visiting Wal-Mart (or similar retail outlet) and picking up the Orange Box.

    *Edit

Amazon.com is selling the Box for $29.99 (plus S&H).

I have seen it on sale for as low as $20 for some online deals I know for sure. It was like $25 with $5 off via google check out.

You can buy the orange box on Amazon for $30, and all orders over $25 have free shipping, as long as you order from Amazon directly.

They were both pretty good. If you're counting on learning anything about Gman, he remains as mysterious as ever, maybe more so. I'd echo the sentiment about just buying Orange Box, cuz Portal was a blast, and TF2 is awesome (but I don't think you'll be happy playing TF2 with the celeron/integrated gpu in your sig)

The episodic content provides sadly no new information on the G-man.

Valve really missed the mark with the previous two episodes.

I found the episodic content, on a whole, a bland, meandering mess of a story that more often aggravates than it invigorates.

    Orange box.

Episode 1 and 2 made hl2 epic for me.

    I adored the episodes.
