    I finally got HL2 while anticipating the release of the w3j. I am just now starting to get into mods and wanted to know if any of you could make some recommendations. I currently have goldeneye source and capture the flag. Both are great.

    I recently played the Metastasis 2 Mod. HOLY **** was it good. Only maybe 1-2 hours gameplay, but it was extremely engaging. You can download it through steam for free.

    Minerva: Metastasis 2 is THE best mode for HL2 right now. It's a single player story with only has two chapters right now, but **** it's yummy.

    Thanks, I've already looked at most of those mod sites such as moddb and looked at all the mods available for HL2. I was more or less just looking for opinions and everyone's favorites to see what I should delve into first.

    I played a little bit of Metastasis on my old comp but it was far too slow to actually be enjoyable. Now that I have my w3 I'll have to dload it again and give it a run.

    I'm not impressed with Episode One. Too many Antlions and too much gravity gun action. I'm over the coolness of the gravity gun.
