    Half Life 2 Problem!

    well I for some reason decided to set the game to 1600x1200 which i know doesnt work but i wanted to see if it would work. now every time i start the game it runs it at that resolution and i cant see a damn thing, it says I am out of scan range. Is there a way to reset to the default graphic settings other than being in game and re installing it(have tried those two allready)

    this is for my desktop aswell

    Go into launch options:

    You can add a directx level command to reset the entire game to original settings on a different DirectX and change it right back, or you can specifiy height and width:

    -dxlevel 70

    OR

    "-height 800 -width 1280"

    there could be a settings.ini or something that holds the current settings you made. it could be as easy as just changing something in there but that dxlevel thing is probably easier lol
