    I'm sure most of you have seen the Half Life 2: Episode 3 floating around (but if you haven't here is the link).

    But according to ScrewAttack and Gabe Newell of Valve, the image is a fake.

    Is anyone else as bummed as I am about hearing this?

    There won't be Episode 3 because Half Life 3 will be announced.

    Source Engine 2 (3?) ftw!

    Even if it could be a long wait i cant seem to stop getting hyped for the release of HL3.
    Maybe it gets released before Gran Turismo 5. xD

    Half-Life 3 won't be here for at least two more years probably more. I won't get any hopes up until I see a firm release date from Valve.

    I doubt there will be a Source Engine 2. They have always said they just keep adding more to the current engine instead of creating a new one...

    The commentary in HL2:EP2 states that the Episodes are what Half-Life 3 would be, ie. there isn't going to be a Half-Life 3.
