Ive been thinking about buying Half-Life: Source and was wondering if anyone has played it? I beat Half-Life 2(Xbox) and have the Orange Box(360) but don't know if its worth going back and playing the game that started it all.

I think it's like 9 bucks, so there's not much risk involved.

It's a good play. I'm personally waiting for the Black Mesa mod, but at the rate it's being made at.....

EDIT: and to comment on your picture "stupid antipimping laws"

Half-Life is a fun game. It looks a bit less revolutionary today than when it came out, but it's still a fun ride, and if you like the Halflife series, it's definitely not a bad idea to play it.

As for the Source version? Meh... Slightly (and I mean *slightly) prettied up graphics, and... that's it. Aesthetically I prefer the original game. I don't much like the mix of HL and HL2 graphics you get in HL:Source.

Neither do I. But I do keep a close eye on the evolution of the Black Mesa mod... :D
I`ve played Half Life 1 over 20 times during my existence, and right now I`m doing the speedrun attempts :D
