I was looking to purchase the Half-Life 1: Anthology package, because I never experience HF1, and was wondering about the compatibility of it on Vista. Has anyone tried Half-Life 1 on Vista and did it work? I am curious because I know there are backwards compatibility issues with Vista, and do not want to spend 20 bucks and then find out it was a waste.

Works fine for me except for games explorer

It´s ok on my vista home basic, I recently bought it from steam along with counter strike, day of defeat, deathmatch classic, etc, etc, etc. and they all work fine...

Even games explorer works.

did you get half life: source, or half life (original non-source upgraded)?

i have all of them, and some do not show up in games explorer

The original. I´d never played HL or CS before so I decided to give a try to the basic ones. Also since I´m in Venezuela, I had to buy this pack and the steam account through a third party here for something like $16 (35000 Bs in my currency) and it included 8 games in total; I´m not sure if that pack is available at steam or it´s name, but they here sell different combo packs, including the source ones (more expensive).
