    Wow, those graphics are pretty nice, especially the foliage. I don't like the new model for Alyx though, she doesn't look as cute or smart as she was before.

    I tried it when it was still version 7 or 9. Yeah, graphics update is nice, but the way way interfered with the other stuff I found it a bit disturbing. New character models, music made it look like some cliche Hollywood blockbuster.

    My god those characters are awful. Obviously they look nice in purely technical terms, but visually the design of them couldn't be further from the original Valve concepts we all know and love.

    The environment screenshots do look stunning. Who says Source is outdated?

    Worth a look for sure. The version without the altered character models. Glad they give you the choice.

    EDIT: 30GB??? Oh well my slow internet cowers in terror at this amount of data. Gonna take a looong time...

    yea the character models are optional lol i didnt like the models myself either but its a nice graphical update for those who like nice visuals lol
