    I had a question about steam, im going to buy the orange box in a few mintues and i was wondering if i could, install it on my desktop and then install it on my new laptop once i get it

    is that possible, i know i woulnt be able to play at the same time, but can i switch off?

    Yeah, just install the Steam client on both computers. Just log on, and the option to install it on the computer will appear.

    That is what I have going on. And plus if you already bought HL2 and Episode 1, then since your buying the Orange Box, Valve is allowing you to send to a friend a code so they can download the full game of both for free.
