What are some good games that are scary/zombie/horror themed? I'm open to all types from flash games to fps.

I enjoyed Doom3, Left4Dead, and the silent hill series.

Is Resident Evil 5 for PC any good? I imagine it'd be clunky compared to using a controler.

Resident Evil is surprisingly pretty good on the PC, mouse and keyboard control is a lot smoother, you can also use a controller. Co-op campaign with human player, avoid the AI control Sheva.

    As for horror games:

    Stalker series
    Penumbra series
    Dead Space
    FEAR series
    Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
    Half-Life 2 - Ravenholm level
    BioShock
    SystemShock
    Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason

RE5 wasn't scary. It's too action oriented, and the setting is too open and bright in my opinion. It's still a good game though.
