So I've been trying to set up a wireless LAN game with Halo 2 Vista, everything works up until the second computer joins the game. The problem is it says the two computers are running different versions of the game that are incompatible.

Which is pretty stupid because both installs are from the same CD. (I just made a backup copy of the CD game for my own personal use.)

Could there be some kind of conflict resulting from installing the game on two different computers with the same CD key..? The single player versions of the game both work fine normally.

I tried making sure both computers had the same update installed for the game, even uninstalled and reinstalled both, and still the same message comes up.

Anyone have any experience with this?

NBR does not allow the discussion of software piracy. If you want to play the game on two different computers at the same time, then buy another legal copy of the game...make sure you read he EULA of the game before installing it.
