Halo: MCC and Infinite Thread

My guess is that there was some garbage or corruption in the OS causing strange behavior. Reinstalling Windows seems to fix most strange and uncommon problems such as this.

its looking like the co op cross play in story will not be released due to programming hurdles and technicality

 

halo waypoint is accepting beta testers im opted in this is going to be awesome so I hope will keep you all updated once I get my hands on Halo infinite BETA

 

even my uhd 620 runs this game....talk about optimization

 

As a budding game developer, I feel like a lot of games could run much better than they do.

The crappy performance on some newer games is not commensurate with the graphical quality of the game or the amount of objects in the environment.

 

i mean my cell phone can run better looking games than my ultrabook....somethings not quite right

I think the games called modern combat and the textures ect are a higher resolution than anything I can run on my laptop

 

Rumor has it Halo Infinite is going to be released in November of this year.

I also saw that the game got updated graphics. It looks much better now. There are no more ugly clay-like textures that make the game look worse than Halo 4. They're all crisp. Graphics wise, the game is now a worthy successor to Halo 5.

thanks for sharing that your right game is looking super pretty...loving the look..they are straying from photo realism but I prefer games to be just that games its a fantasy mindset an escape from reality not a jump back in the dark waters of anxiety

 

I much prefer photorealism, so I'm glad 343i got rid of the crappy clay-like graphics. I mean it doesn't need to look exactly like real life, just close enough, which this does. I do look forward to the day that games do look like real life though. That'll be super awesome.

 

MSFS 2020 already achieves photorealism arguably.

 

absolutely correct, I did not realize the game started when I first saw it...I think but correct me if im wrong but I believe msfs 2020 is the first photo realistic game to ever come out

I thought Halo Infinite was supposed to bring back couch co-op.

I'll be getting it on steam, so I'll still be doing online co-op with friends.

Meh, I've been a PC only gamer for a long while, so I just do co-op through Steam.

That sucks for the Xbox users though.

 

its pretty cool playing my dad on his xbone im using integrated graphics and get 30fps and we can play on the same team even though im using a pc and him a xbox....pc has an amazing future imagine

 

halo infinite just got a huge visual upgrade...looking far more next gen unlike anything we have ever seen kinda like msfs 2020.

This is exactly how Halo Infinite should look. That is, significantly better than Halo 5.

I'm glad the dull clay textures are gone. I'm not going to miss those at all. I'm stoked to play this game!

halo ce was revolutionary in many ways this game no..
why would they throw the money down the drain, did they scare off the original geniuses...yes yes they did
now we are left with what a cartoony cookie cutter shooter with no real innovation..sad times
i was really hoping they would fix an innovate but after watching my own videos its looking like a big let down

 

still no news on if they are doing a battle royale I sure hope not..

would be cool if they brought the pistol back ala halo 1 maybe 4 shots vs 3...would be epic..

Hah.. looks like we've come to the point where my system just meets recommended specs... GPUs need to get back to normal pricing..

 

yeah i was wrong...a 2070-3090 will last this console gen... maybe we will see still with vram requirements

 

I think that really depends on the resolution you play at. For me, I'm not budging from 1080p unless it becomes impossible to find 1080p panels, so my VRAM requirements will be quite low compared to other people. I still don't max out the 6 GB of VRAM in my GTX 1060 even in the latest games.

I primarily game on laptops. At a screen size of 17 inches or smaller, there isn't much of a benefit from increasing the resolution past 1080p, which is why I'm super against resolution increases in newer laptop panels. I don't want my games to lag, and you guys all know how high my framerate requirements are.

 

yeah not everyone is gunning for 300fps but bro it must be nice....im currently gunning for 30fps on my 1650....and 60 on my series s

 

Yeah I agree, I'd like to move to 1440p just to get a better UI experience, but for gaming I've come to terms with 1080p, it's fine. I don't see my 2070 not being enough for 1080p as long as any RT also includes DLSS support. I'm still going to upgrade if I get a shot at a decently priced 3070 or 3070Ti, but I'm not in any hurry. Hopefully i'll get lucky in the the newegg shuffle, but even the prices there sometimes have basically stopped me from entering sometimes. Like.. no I'm not willing to pay $1100+ for what should be a $500-650 card and then have to figure out dumping a motherboard. At least sometimes it's a decent PSU that would be an upgrade from my Corsair RM650x..

 

its really nice that the multiplayer will be free....should attract more players and bring halo multiplayer back to its full glory...also people are raving about it saying its really well done fun ect and looks amazing....really exciting to see another great aaa game coming to pc...also i have yet to buy cryberpunk and I heard thats an amazing AAA game also now that most of the bugs are fixed...its just a pity with farcry 6 who knows it might end up being alot of fun....but judging from the videos it looks silly....but then again so did PUBG and that game was raved about for years....exciting times...and as for VR...well the quest 2 is taking over and more and more standalone games are coming out that are worth the 20 bucks..
