    External Keyboard? Wrist pad?

It could just be that you need to give yourself some time to adjust to the new, flatter, keys.

you can use a keyboard and wristpad, you can change the keys to something more comfy for you, or you can play for short periods of time with breaks of doing other things where you use your wrists a lot

Perhaps adjusting the position of the notebook would help as well. Even a cooling pad or notebook pad may help change the angle.

But I think you'd be best off with an external keyboard or even one of those gaming pads.

The external keyboard sounds like a good idea; try one of the Microsoft ergonomic ones; I have the 4000 hooked up to my desktop and it is extremely comfortable:

Is the problem with your hand or wrist? I have problems with my left wrist. Using a proper typing position is critical. Use Google to get results.

    Carpal Tunnel syndrome?

Use an external keyboard as suggested above. Also do hand exercises (small circular motion) and massage your hand regularly to relieve the pain

Or you can go for the most obvious solution of all and adjust your controls for the game to something you're more comfortable with. :)

My suggestion for you my friend:

    E-forward
    A-left
    F-right
    D-back

Adjust the other keys as needed. There's no reason to twist your appendages into weird shapes and angles if there's no need to.
