    Hi!

Since my computer seems to be slow when getting to the laptops hard disk, im planning on buying a new HD, at 7200mph and 320gb. Will that be faster that the in-lappy HD??

    thanks

It depends on what hard disk you have currently in the notebook. Also, USB drives are limited by the interface, so it may perform slowly, even though the actual hard disk can transfer data at a much faster rate. Also, if your current hard disk is slow in accessing the partitions, it may be because another folder that shows files from that hard disk is open, and is displaying something in thumbnails. Close it, and then try accessing the partition.
