I have a GTX 460M Alienware M17X R3, and I get fps drops while playing, or when flash light is turned on, than the fps drops significantly.. any ideas? I am assuming its the problem with the OPTIMUS, but I was wondering if anyone figured out the problem yet?

you might need to turn your rendering to a different type, ie, DX9 to OGL or vice versa. there are also some custom settings you can change.

my old laptop did the same thing with smokes, even though in cs:s smokes wouldn't even phase my framerate.
