Hey everyone. Ive been trying to overclock my Dell XPSM1530 (8600m GT) with ATItools, but everytime I try to adjust the settings and set the clock it resets the setting back to factory. Is there something im missing here? Thanks in advance!

    *Edit*
Also, do i only adjust the 3D high settings? or all of them(2D, 3D low, 3D high)

Use Rivatuner or Ntune 6.03 instead.

I tried using ntune but every time i would accept the user agreement to go and overclock the computer would crash. And Riva tuner was doing almost the exact thing like ATItools

Use only the Perfomance 3D Profile for overclocking... the other two are 2D related.

Alright sounds good, but it still wont let me save the settings for some odd reason. Am I missing something?

Anybody? Does having Vista 64 have anything to do with this? Or is there some type of security stoping me from saving?

Ok, so i ran into a different problem. When I go into the Nvidia Control Panel and go into the Performance tab there is a End User agreement you have to accept. When I click yes, it goes into a blue screen and restarts the computer....I am so confused!

You need to install 3rd party video drivers from laptopvideo2go.com
Stock Dell drivers don't allow overclocking.
