Will it come in PCI-E 1.0 or will it be 2.0 only?

I know it would be speculation only but what would be your best guess?

8800GT is PCIE 2.0 right? ATI loves to use newfangled tech so i would guess so.

does this mean i have to get a new mobo? I have the intel 965 series motherboard at the moment.

PCIE 2.0 products should still work in the previous PCIE slots, and vice versa. It's just about the total over performance of data transfer I believe.

If you go down to the PCIE 2.0 section, it seems to say just what I thought. Older cards work in 2.0, and 2.0 work with older slots, just not as 2.0. I could still be wrong though.
