    Yes it is possible.
Depends on which rifle you are using though. Some are harder to aim with.

The real answer is NO , because you'll probably miss and then the other player will kill you before you reload .

Just kidding ... didn't you try it in gameplay ?

yeah but most of the time it takes 2 shot before they die, and that when i actually do a headshot, i don't know if other people already damage them or that i really did a headshot. anyway, thanks a lot :)

when sniping, the distance you shoot at effects you. if you are very far away, aim higher then the targets head, and you will get headshots..if you aim at their head when far away it will result in body shots...this is how it was for me when i last played.

    pb,out.

Are you using the standard gun or the upgrade? I can kill people in 1 shot with the upgraded rifle, it's pretty strong.

Jeff, that's cuz the M95 has a 95% damage rate, if someone's taken a nick at all that'll usually do 'em in (great for team play, pick you targets, and you can cripple half a squad with one clip. I'd say practice with bots to really get your sniping skills up, that's what I did, 2 hours on karkand playing nothin' but sniper, and you'll be halfway decent online.

I can never kill them in 1 shot with the upgrade even though, i have only gotten like 3 headshots ever. Is it true that you have to aim above the head if you are a ways away? It always takes me 2-3 shots to the mid section for me to kill someone with the upgraded sniper gun.

It's impossible to take more than 2 hits of the m95 unless someone's being healed by a medic upon being hit, a tip to remember, if you hold the fire button (mouse clicker 1 for me) down for a moment after your shot, you'll see a small x appear if you hit the guy, if no x you missed, remember there's deviation, so even the best player in the world won't hit every time, and there's always a small amount of generated "sway" even when prone, and I'm sure it goes without saying, whenever you setup a shot, be prone! and make sure to practice 2-3 kills, then movelocation (if you're a lone sniper, if you're supporting a team, like you should be, not enough squad players in bf2) a slow sniper is a dead sniper.

In bf2 especially unless you're very close to the enemy its difficult to get a head shot, but yes possible. Don't forget to aim accordingly for drop off over distances...
