I just started playing HG:L on my Clevo M570RU (Sager NP5790). The M570RU is equipped with a 8700M.
Now, it might be me, but I find it kinda difficult to aim: the mouse is pretty slow.
I haven't tested any settings yet (just tried the game this morning before I left for work :p), so all settings are what was default at first start-up (I noticed resolution was set at 1900x1200).
I did already set the mouse sensitivty to full :)

Did anybody else notice this? And, if so, (how) did you fix it?
Thanks for any help you folks can give me :)

Resolution seems a tad high with default settings even for an 8700GT. Have you looked at the various hellgate threads as to how the game performs on different system configurations?

I've tried looking for some info on the board, but
    1) the SEARCH function doesn't seem to work properly: I get a blank page
    2) I'm at work, so after the first 10 pages from this sub forum without any topic regarding HG:L, I stopped looking. Of course, I will look further when I have time (if someone didn't already post a solution by that time ;) )

    Try this thread:

It's for the 8600GT but in your case you can raise the resolution up one notch with roughly the same quality settings. I still think your resolution is a bit high for playable performance on that game but others can easily correct me on this.

8700m really starts overstepping its bounds at 1920x1200.

Way too much stuff to move around at that resolution for a 128-bit memory bus.

    Try a lower resolution first...
    the 8700 loves 1280x1024 (1440x900) and below.
