    Hey guys,
I'm just wondering, will this computer be able to run games like COD6, COD4, and Bioshock with maxed out graphics? How will it do with a game like Crysis?

    Qosmio x500 Laptop Specs
    Processor

    Intel® Core™ i7-720QM processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
    Operating System

    Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit
    Memory

    Standard Memory: 4GB + 2GB DDR3 (1066 MHz)
    Maximum Memory: 8GB DDR3
    Expansion Modules: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB DDR3

    Hard Disk Drive
    1TB (2 x 500GB 5400 RPM); Serial-ATA hard disk drive

    Optical Drive

DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive with BD-ROM
    Maximum speed and compatibility:
    Read: CD-ROM (24x), DVD-ROM (8x), BD-ROM (6x)
    Write: CD-R (24x), CD-RW (4x), DVD-R (Single Layer (8x), DVD-R (Double Layer (4x), DVD-RW (6x), DVD+R (Single Layer (8x), DVD+R (Double Layer (4x), DVD+RW (8x), DVD-RAM (5x)

    Display System
Type: 16:9 TFT Active Matrix colour LCD display
Size (diagonal): 18.4” FHD TFT with TruBrite™
Native LCD Panel Resolution: 1920x1080x16.7 million colours
External Support and Max. Colour Support (dependent On CRT): Up to 2,048 x 1536 x 16.7 million colours

    Graphics Controller
    nVidia GeForce GTS 250M
    Dedicated video memory: 1GB GDDR5
up to 2298MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory with 6GB of system memory

And what would run better, this laptop or the Qosmio Q870 (same specs except; 720p screen res, 4gb of ram, 360m nVidia graphics card). This is in terms of gaming of course, I realize both these laptops will run school work and all that flawlessy.

    Thanks in advance!!!
    Macdon

It will run fine, just not on max.

High would be playable I think.

Normal will run fine, as said by Clutch.

High is debatable, depending on the game.

Not sure if the 360m is better than the 250m, but I'm sure someone will answer that question in no time.

And this thread really should be posted here.

Edit: Just noticed you posted there also. Please try and not to post multiple thread's on different sub-forums. Thanks.
