I recently bought a Inspiron e1505 and am planning on picking up some rpg games to play at my boring ass job. First title that came to mind was oblivion. I've read a bunch of mixed posts some saying that oblivion will play just fine and some that proclaim that oblivion would be unplayable on a e1505. With the Specs given would you think i would have an enjoyable playing experience if i bought oblivion. ( i'm not looking for max settings or anything like that, just a gameplay experience without any frustrations.)

    Intel Core Duo processor T2400
    1GB Dual Channel SDRAM
    256MB Radeon X1400
    80GB 7200rpm HD

Another thing can any of you experienced pc gamers recommend some quality RPG "Oblivion type" games, with longevity and good gameplay value since i have a boring ass job and sit and do jack.

    Any info is appreciated

My previous dv8000t had a Go 7400 in it which is considered a bit less powerful than the x1400 in your system (x1400 has a 128 bit memory interface, Go 7400 only has a 64 bit) & I was able to play Oblivion fine at lower settings (not lowest). Go with a modest screen resolution, 1024x768 max, and play with the settings and you should find a configuration that works well for you. Bottom line, Oblivion will definitely be playable on the system you listed.
