Ok. I do not think I have had a graphic card on the this computer. The book from my new graphic card I just got is saying that I need to unistall my old graphics card software. I dont know if this is it or not but could some one tell me if Intel (R) Proset is a graphics card or driver or not.

Intel Proset is intel's wireless card configuration utility. It is not related to the graphics card.

Every computer must have a graphics card in order to function. If a computer does not have a graphics card installed, it will not boot up.

And question 2 I already put in my graphic card and put in the cd and installed it but when I reboot my pc I get an error saying "ATI driver not detected" But I already downloaded the driver. I dont think I have uninstalled my old graphic card yet that may be the problem but I dont know what my old graphic card is called. Help please. Thanks.

Well I install the drivers before I switch my cards. This way once it is detected Windows will assign it right away. You might want to re-download it. I don't know why you would be getting that error.

Did you get the Catalyst program too?

your computer has probably never had a SLOT graphics card installed. You must me using the integrated video card hookup that is on your main board correct? If thats the case, there is no uninstalling of any graphics card drivers required to install your new card, just pop it in, install the new drivers, and your ready to go.

-EDIT: I posted before i read your other post, so i appologize. I would suggest re-installing your ATI drivers. If not, google "ATI drivers" or go to ATI's website to download the latest drivers from there. If this doesnt work, post back and try to be a little more specific with the problem :)

Iv'e redownloaded and everything and reinstalled. When I made sure my graphic card was in right I decided to switch it to a diffrent slot. I then get a message saying " New Hard Drive or hard ware w.e detected. But I still got the message saying ATI Driver not detected. Here is a SS.

See I dont get why it has RADEON there but it says ATI Driver not detected. Is it maybe that I still have my other graphic card installed? And no I never had a slot graphic card b4.

EDIT-- Another SS BIOS/PN Not detected? what the?
