Hey everyone...I need your help. Some time ago I found an app here that would shut down certain unneeded services in order to increase gaming performance and you could quickly get them running again. Just clicking start and stop. Anyone know of this app? I reinstalled Vista and forgot to backup this said app.

    TIA!

I used AlacrityPC a couple of times, it does what you want.

However I didn't notice an important FPS increase (2-3 fps more, maybe), so it is not worthy the extra loading time, and the risk of crashing due to massive closing/loading of services...

I also tried another app called GameProfile (don't remember the link now), but it was the same... not really helpful...
