    Hey,

As you may know, I upgraded the bios on my X300 to the newest one offered on Dell's site: ATI MobilityRadeon X300, v.008.017M.192.062, A03

I am now having issues w/ "ATi video bios poller client" causing my lcd not to shut off, and powerplay not to work. If I end task it, then it solves these problems but ati2evxx.exe starts to spike to 25% cpu usage at regular intervals, sometimes close together, sometimes further apart.

I need to get that original bios back. How do I do it? Can anyone post theirs if they haven't updated it?

Note: I have a .bin of my old one which I "dumped" from ATi Tray Tools but I already tried flashing that with ATi winflash and it caused garbled screens and I had to blindly flash the new one back. Should I try flashing this .bin in another way?

    Thanks,

    Flaviu

WOW thanks man! I don't know what I had before.

HTF did I not find it...I just went to downloads for my service tag.

UPDATE: ****! I did it, but it still doesn't solve my ATi video bios poller client :( I guess I had this before I flashed to the new bios too.

I have this problem w/ any drivers, w/ proper uninstall and using driver cleaner pro. (However, I didn't try a driver reinstall after the new flash, you think it'll make a difference?)

I'd call Dell and have them send you a new card.
