Head to nvidia website and navigate to their notebook book drivers page. Simply download their latest notebook driver. Those are the best and most stable in my experience.

Here is a link to the download page :
    http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/geforce_notebook_winxp_185.85_whql_uk.html

    Welcome to NBR!

edit this is a link to their latest 186.03 WHQL driver:
    http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/geforce_notebook_winvista_186.03_whql_uk.html

Once you have downloaded it. Go to add/remove programs in control panel and uninstall your existing nvidia drivers. Then restart the laptop and install your new freshly downloaded one.

its always better to check out Nvidia USA HERE or
HERE as they get their drivers updated quicker than the uk website.

    1)Which driver did you download?
    2)What was the error message?
3)Did you try to download the driver again to make sure that the driver file wasn't corrupted during your first download?

    i installed the 190. driver from laptopvideo2go.

that drivers from the site dont give any errors during installition.

nvidia drivers from the officiall site say that error during installition.unable to detect hardware

i used Dox optimized drivers for xp before..182.05 + some older by DOX since a view weeks im using normal 185.85 nvidia drivers and i love em.

besides that i did some actuall gameplay benchmarks with street fighter 4 + devil may cry benchmark with the dox 182.05 on performance mode and the 185.85 drivers and i had over 900 points more in streetfighter 4 bench.

also i can say i have overall better performance in games.

That is odd notebooker-hp. I do recommend strongly using the official nvidia drivers rather than those from laptopvideo2go or dox. Ever since the early 18xx series drivers were released by nvidia I have much preferred them to any un-official modded drivers from elsewhere.
