I just got a new ACER laptop. It's a a6-3420m 1.5ghz processor with a 6520g in it. Games aren't performing as well as I had hoped, so I figured the drivers needed to be updated. I did the whole AMD auto detect thing and got the right driver. However, in the middle of the download, my internet crapped out on me. The download finished and now the installer seems to think that the 5 mb it downloaded is the whole file, when the file is actually 150mb. No matter how many times I try and restart the download, it just stops immediately at the mark where I lost my internet and says the download is complete. I tried deleting the old 5mb driver it downloaded and start again, but nothing. I deleted everything from autodetect and redownloaded the program again, re-autodetected, and restarted the download. Same results. I don't know what to do. Help me out guys. The driver was called 12-6_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc. Thanks.

that happened to me once and I think I had to use a different driver and do the uninstall option, then reinstall

try using the 12.5 or 12.7 installer and select "uninstall" in the options
