    Hi all,

Just started trying to play this, and im astonished at how poor my framerate it. Even with all the sliders at the lowest level its virtually impossible in combat.

Given my reasonable spec laptop I assumed i could do better (can play Mass Effect 2 for example with everything on high).

Does any one have any suggested tweaks either in game or via nhancer?

    Thanks in advance

    A

Thanks, but everything is literally set to its lowest possible level already - all glossy effects that i can switch off in the in-game settings are off.

    Its very odd.....

Hmmmm, maybe its an issue with Nvidia cards. Check your drivers, get the latest one.

Have you run the benchmark? Post your results.

very likely to be drivers problems. even the GMA 4500MHD can play with with High settings (no advanced settings, just High) at 800x600 avg 35fps.

Bizarre resolution to this one - might help someone if they are struggling with the same issues.

After several hours last night of tweaking etc I gave up and decided to set it to a high setting just to see what it looks like - and low and behold when I selected the DX10 option it ran fine!

First time ive ever found that selecting higher graphics specifications runs faster than lower!

o_O i've seen that a few times, but quite forgot about that trick. Did you set resolution to native? It seemed to help a couple of games.

and glad to hear you have your problem resolved! :)

I tried native to start, and then dropped it when my frames were so poor. However, now Im running at much higher settings native seems the best option.

So nice to be enjoying the game finally!
