    Hey guys,

I just recently got myself a brand new HP Envy 15 inch notebook. Its been great so far but when I play Dawn of War 2 I cant max the graphics settings for some reason. For example, I can max the settings and hit the benchmark button and it runs fine on max, but then if I accept and confirm the settings it goes back to Medium settings. If that makes sense.

    My laptop:

    750GB HDD
    i7 - 2670QM CPU @2.2GHz
    8.00 GB RAM
    64 bit operating system
    ATI RADEON 7690M GPU 2GB

    Someone please help?

Are you on latest drivers and are you sure your DoW II installation didn't start to register corruptions?

Sometimes a game that isn't installed properly could corrupt. Otherwise, that is a bit weird. Did you manually set everything and click apply and don't let the system determine you your defaults?

Just for my own clarity, this also happens when you increase the settings and hit confirm, without running the benchmark?

Also, at what resolution are you playing? Have you tried increasing the settings at a lower res?

I don't think the game would refuse to let him try settings to the game when his hardware is not up to it. What is weird is that his game refuses to accept his changes to graphic settings... However I do +1 if you try to set everything without the benchmark first.
