Im getting a Dell Inspiron 6400 with the following specs:

    Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core T2130 Processor (1.86GHz,533MHz,1MB L2 cache)
    Windows Vista Home Premium
    TrueLife screen (the glossy screen)
    2048Mb 667MHz dual channel memory
    9 cell battery
    160GB Hard Drive
    2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x1024]
    Intel® Media Accelerator 950 Graphics
    Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive

I was wondering that if i connect the laptop to my 40" TV via S-Video to watch DVD's and films streaming off the Internet, will the picture on my TV lag or will the Intel 950 integrated graphics card, and processor make it play smoothly?

Also will the audio be outputted through the laptop or through ym TV if i connect it vis S-Video?

    Thx for ur time.

As long as you aren't running 3D games the GMA950 will be fine for you. It won't have any problems playing videos/DVDs.

Unless you hook up the audio to the TV then it will come out of your laptop.

    Congratulations on the laptop. :)
