The 9300M GS is a lower end of the market card, it can only play current games at medium to low setting, as for new games in a year or two who knows.

don't even bother with systemrequirementslab, just use the post of "can my notebook run it?"

    You can't upgrade the card.

    drfelip,

thanks for the info. can you enumerate some versions higher than that of my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS) that are upgradable?

    thanks in advance...

The GeForce 9300M GS is DirectX 10 and Shader 4.0 capable, the newest I know of is DirectX 10.1 and Shader 4.1.

Not sure what the difference is though..

The possibility for upgrading a laptop's graphic card does not lie in the graphic card itself, but with the laptop. Some laptops are designed to have removable graphic cards, however, there must be a suitable replacement that would fit to consider it to be upgradeable.

That's right. The laptop has to have the graphics card in an MXM slot. Have a look at http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/
