OK, how do I check the temps on my new laptop while I am gaming?? Is there something in the OS i can use? Or some freeware/software I can DL to do this for me?

I have a 17" Clevo 570U 2.0, 7950gtx running XP. Also, what temps should be considered "normal parameters" to stay at or under while running some COD4 or WAW. I usually play at 1280x1024 all medium settings. Thanks in advance!

To monitor your temeprature you have several options. I prefer the AtiTool, since it is simple to use. Just google it and you can get it.

Great help guys, thanks. I downloaded a couple of the freeware programs, and while both HWmonitor and Everest recognize and temp out my CPU, neither will find the GPU to give a temp reading on it. Everest says I have a "Calistoga" chipset which may have compatibility issues. So for now I still don't have a GPU temp reading :( .

OK. I use GPU-Z to hold control over my temps, but the thing with this program is that it does not show you temps in game. But it makes a log :D
