Well as most everybody by now should know laptopvideo2go is still not up, and they haven't been up for days now. I have the 8600m gs and have been wanting to update it from 163.75 to the latest which is 169.12 or so from what I have heard.

But, I can't seem to find a download for it anywhere I look and I'm completely confused about the whole inf. mod file that goes with the whole thing only adding more to my endless confusion.

So I go directly to HP to sort the matter out and I get put on chat with a tech support person. I tell them I want to update my drivers and they give me this link.

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37501-38000/sp37814.exe

    Version: 7.15.11.5665

Which update is this? And will this even improve anything.

LV2G has been up for a few days. Drivers are in the forums section.

I downloaded 169.12 for vista 32 bit, but how come when I extract it out comes like 50 files crowding my desktop?? Did I do something wrong here?
