Hello I just recently purchased Day of Defeat source from steam. I have a dell inspiron 9300 with a geforce go 6800, 1 gig of ram, pentium m 1.73, 80 gig 5400 rpm hard drive. During gameplay there are these like....white streaks/blue streaks across the screen. In the game i have 16:10 ratio, at 1440x900 since this is my laptops native resolution. I have the 81.95 drivers installed and updated so I don't think that's the problem. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Try running it without HDR (High Dynamic Range), and see if that helps. Also, turn off AA.

You might try running it under a DX8.1 codepath or rolling back to an older set of drivers.

i thought they reported problems with lost coast and nvidia cards, but check on the steam forums i think, or make sure it wasn't just a bad server
