Help with Far Cry 2

So FC2 decided to corrupt my save games. ha-ha. how funny. at 85% completion no less. so my question is, anybody got a save game for FC2 for somewhere around that 85% mark? thanks in advance.

WOW! you are at 85%?? i just started it last week and i'm at 12%.its such a long game. i have to travel through almost all the country to go to the next mission.if only it had a plane or a helicopter....

 

buses and waterways, my man... buses and waterways...

 

exactly.
ive just finished it and it took 22 days of total playing time.
id does get a bit of a pain having to travel back and forwards but as whizzo said the quickest way is to use the waterways or the busses.
also dont forget to use the map as it comes in quite usefull at times.

 

on its way whizzo. act 3 84% is the nearest i could get.

The missions don't take long. You know there's a bus station right out of Pala right? Take the bus to the mission and finish it. Then take the bus right back to Pala. I can finish a mission in 5 minutes.

 

But there is a chance to be airborne

 

oh, those things are absolutely useless. great for picturesque shots to showcase the game's engine, but otherwise useless.

 

You have to use the hang gliders to get to certain diamond cases. 85% and you didn't know that?!

 

gah, i hate those parts in games... collecting stuff. diamonds, tags, cards, horseshoes, whatever. where's the fun in it?

 

indeed, especially when there is 221 cases to find :|

 

they expect their game to suck so much they have to fill it with more useless crap

 

some cases contain two diamonds.

 

I've found alot of cases with 3 diamonds in them too. Most, if not all, of the ones which you have to get by hang glider contain 3 diamonds. And then you can buy more weapons and upgrades

 

and then the upgraded guns jam as well Arghh!

ive finished the game with one of the endings but when it comes to the battery i cant find where to take the ruddy thing. i stand in the red circle where its suposed to be but theres nothing there. double Arghh!!

 

take the battery to the boxes on the left of the overhang. then press E and watch mayhem unfold.

 

One weekend on the xbox and I got to about 80%. And I still did my hw and chores and hung out with friends.

 

only problem is whizzo is that i cant get up the ruddy mountain anywhere. ive walked all around to look for somewhere i can actually get up it but to no avail.

i like taking my time and only get 1-2 hours a day when im home.

 

that happened to me too at first. there's a small goat trail just behind and to the right of the Jackal's house.

saved file worked just fine. i did splurge the entire stack of diamonds (432 ) on weaponry within about three minutes though...

 

lol. oh well,i just blew my to kingdom come.
i just cant believe how i mised that trail. found all the rest throughout the game except for this one.
oh well,onto my next game. cheers.

hehe i can imagine. great dedication, finding all the cases... i could never do that
