Ok, im playing a game, its 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul. It is a very sharp and graphics demanding game. HEre are my options...

    nVIDIA GeForce 6 Effects
    Geforce FX effects
    Enhanced High-End: Additional Graphics
    geforce 3/4 effects
Geforce 2/4mx Effects (The current one)

    Listed in that order^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    PC Specs:

Core 2 Duo T9300 (Santa Rosa Refresh)
    4GB memory
    geforce 8600M gs (1276MB))
    vista home premium 32
    17" HD screen

I want it to look good and run good. In the game i run Reflections at High and Texture Quality at Medium. I play at 1440x900. Now it plays fine, but i wanted to know if i could handle higher, thanks

You should be able to run it at the highest settings.

I would use the current selected or default one. It is probably the best one, but again. try each one just in case.

No, it just came out a few months ago. What if GeForce 6 is the old one and it goes newer as the list goes down. Im not sure.
