OK, i'm just a noob. and i'm sure that this question has been asked before (so shoot me), but with a sucky dial-up connection, i cant search fast enough to find the answer, so i thought i'd just ask again. I have an HP dv6500t with intel t7300 processor, 160 gb HDD, 2gb ram, and a 383mb NVIDIA GeForce 8400m GS. I went to systemrequirementslab.com to scan my PC and see if it could run oblivion. one problem. Oblvion requires 128mb of graphics memory. it registered 117mb. my card is 383mb! what the heck!? is it that the dedicated memory is only 117? and if so, is there any way to increase this. btw, i'm running Vista Home Premium. if windows does not allow me to increase my dedicated memory, i think i am going to assasinate bill gates (j/k, but it still makes me mad.)

Unfortunately you can't increase your dedicated memory...
    383mb is with turbocache..

But I don't think the game will have any problem running the game...

Also, try going to www.oldblivion.com That is a program allowing Oblivion to play at a much better performance level on systems which don't have the best hardware around.

Forget about systemrequirementslab.com, you'll be able to run Oblivion. Probably at low to medium settings though.

Overclocking can damage your computer if you're not careful. Alternatively, if you experience issues with Oblivion then you could try updating your graphic drivers at laptopvideo2go.com or HP's support site of course.
