Hey, i have an Asus X59SL laptop with the HD3470 in it.

Checking the CCC info, I see that the stock clocks are 500Mhz core, 400Mhz memory, which I think are the HD3450 clocks, or even below those.

    According to:

Notebookcheck: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470
    http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-3470.9594.0.html

This card shoud have 680Mhz core, and at least 500Mhz memory.

I tried to overclock the card to it "supposed" stock clocks, but i just can't:
    - AMD gpu clock does not work on this laptop, even its latest version.
    - on ATI Tool (latest version for Vista) stock clocks are 247/278 and whenever i move the frequency bar higher it just gets back to its initial position.

The card name is displayed as HD3470 (not 3450), and I use the stock asus drivers on windows vista.

I really could use some help, because it is frustrating to have a downclocked card, and it is not because of a power sheme or power saving, my games indeed run at 500/400Mhz when on performance mode.

    Some feedback is really apreciated!!

it's normal. sometimes vendors do underclock their gpus to meet thermal requirement. i remember the hp dv9700t has a 8600m gs clocked at 450mhz instead of the 600mhz nvidia reference clock.
