    hi
this might not be the right thread to ask this but i am having a little trouble with my steam account. it has been logged in on my desktop for a long time and i have forgotten the pass and secret question. however i have the email and i can get the verification code. my parents threw away all my cd's a while back (said i played too much :( ) ...
now that i got my laptop for college, i want to play the games on it but i cant get the pass reset...
is there a way that i am missing??

    any input is apreciated

I'm afraid you gonna have to try to contact steam... but without the cd's I'm afraid they won't be able to help you...

You are going to need that CD key number, so I guess you are out of luck. Unless you want to buy a new one...

If you don't have the CD keys, login info, or proof of purchase, then you've lost the game. I think your parents were on to something.
