Last week I purchased the new Surface Book i7, and I want to maximize performance from the 965m. It seems the cooling system is able to maintain at about 67c while running on boost clocks. I maxed out the allowed overclock using MSI Afterburner (+135mhz, core) but I think it could go higher. Is there a way to allow the boost clock curve to go as high as it wants and use as much power as it wants as long as the temperatures stay below 80c? If that isn't possible, is there at the very least a way to enable higher overclocks?

What do you mean by "350//400?" If you mean core/memory overclocks then that is significantly higher than what the system allowed me to achieve. You're right to a certain extent with the settings thing, the GPU can handle most games at 1080p. However, the Surface Book (not pro as you mentioned) has a 3000X2000 resolution, so every ounce of extra speed means a slightly higher resolution while maintaining 60FPS in games like Overwatch and Battlefield. After spending an hour searching through this and similar forums I've seen some pretty impressive OCs from people using 965m, but no one has described how they achieved them.

What does the creation of these entail? Is there a community that creates them for popular models of laptops like the Surface Book? Your overclock is impressive! Are these custom vbioses manufacturer or computer specific?
Help with achieving the best performance on the 965m equipped Surface Book?
