Hey there,i had my eyes set on the new sony FE31Z with nvidia geforce go 7600 for about £1200.then i went to comet and i could get this laptop. the FE21H
    http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sony_Vaio_VGN-FE21H_15.4/version.asp

for £675.because it was the last one left and had been on display.the only downfall is its got the nvidia geforce go 7400 256mb and i know 128mb is dedicated and the other 128mb is shared.im not really bothered about the processor(1.6ghz dual core is ok for me).The most demanding graphics game i will play will be MGS2 Substance and gta sa.And maybe re4 when it comes out in December. So will the 7400 be ok for these games and not cause me any problems?
The last laptop i had was a centrino model with the intel gma 900 and when playing mgs2 it just gave a black screen but it had sound and i dont want to do the same with the 7400.

    please help

The 7400 should play your games fine, and even run Aero/Vista. Unless you have a burning need to play F.E.A.R. or Oblivion on high settings, you should be fine with a 7400, and save a lot of cash for nice accessories instead.

If those are the only games you play, you should be fine. I've never played any of them, but I do know that they aren't very new or graphically demanding games, so I don't think there will be a problem. And the 7400 will be leagues better than the GMA900, so don't worry about no performance differences; they will be huge.
