I just got my new Vaio S360
    1.7GHz Pentium M, 400M
    512MB RAM
    80GB HD
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 64MB (dedicated)

I have tried to get past a certain point in Doom 3 on the first level (just before meeting with "Sargeant Kelly" and the game freezes. The audio continues, but the whole machine is stuck and I have to force a shutdown.

I have even tried reducing the quality to low, 640x800, AA off. Still same thing happens.

    My Video driver is
    ver. 6.14.10.6430
    date: 3/35/2004

I tried to update it, but it says there is no new driver available.

Anyone else have success playing Doom 3 on the Sony S360?

Anyone know how I can fix this problem?
